This is great cinema. Nothing better captures the spirit of California sports fandom than two women screeching and grabbing each other’s hair while Freddie Freeman and Miguel Rojas parade a couple of World Series trophies through the outfield while sitting on a low rider. Not just that, but the one man comes in to help break it up, and by “break it up” I mean he throws a couple of right hands at another guy, who falls backward and bonks his head on the railing before some older white guy in a Mookie Betts jersey gets in there to separate. Then you’ve got Princess Else with the baseball glove saying “let go, let go” while AC/DC’s Back in Black blares over the PA system.
