Alright let’s get it back to the Eagles:

Moore is very close with A.J. Brown. They played together at Ole Miss and A.J. credits Moore for helping him get through some mental health struggles.

Therefore, you have people instantly thinking that Howie Roseman went out and got Moore to make Brown happy and keep him here. Could be true. On the other hand, maybe A.J. is a goner and they are grabbing receivers to replace him – first Hollywood Brown, now Elijah Moore. A.J. either plays with his good friend or is replaced by his good friend.

I guess WE’LL FIND OUT SOON ENOUGH!

RE: Moore, and whether or not he’s any good, it’s hard to say because most of his career has been played for the Jets and Browns. He has never topped 700 yards in a season and that’s despite getting 348 targets in his first four years. He actually had 104 targets and 102 targets in consecutive Cleveland seasons, which resulted in 120 receptions for 1,178 yards and three touchdowns. He played last year with Buffalo and caught 9 passes for 112 yards before he was waived in November. He finished the season on the Denver practice squad.

The thing about playing WR3 or WR4 for the Eagles is that you’re not going to get a lot of targets. If A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are both here next year, it’s 35-ish targets for Hollywood Brown, and Moore won’t see much of the ball at all. Of course, the Birds are working in a new offensive coordinator and a new system, so that could certainly change, but in years past the ball has gone to Brown, Smitty, Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert, and that’s about it.

Looking at the Kalshi market for A.J.’s next team, it’s a toss-up:
