Happy Opening Day to all who celebrate.

It’s Phillies vs. Rangers at 4:15 p.m. and before first pitch we are hammering the Phillies to win at least 90 games at Kalshi:

A $10 wager placed today returns $21 when it inevitably cashes in mid-September.

And look, if the vibes are a little bit off, it’s understood. This is a team that has crashed out in the NLDS in two consecutive seasons after going to the World Series and NLCS in 2022 and 2023. Ranger Suarez is gone and Zack Wheeler is coming off an injury. Justin Crawford will be playing his first major league season in center and Adolis Garcia is a wild card in right field. The bullpen has been given a bit of a makeover. Aaron Nola looked good in the World Baseball Classic but is coming off a rough 2025 regular season. The Phillies are largely “running it back” despite what Dave Dombrowski and Rob Thomson say.

But they are “running it back” with a core that won 96 games. Bryce Harper is healthy. Kyle Schwarber re-signed. Trea Turner won the batting title. Cristopher Sanchez is a stud and Jesus Luzardo, too. If, at worst, you think the Phillies remain flat in 2026, then flat is what? 90 wins? 91 wins? I think they win 92 games and take the NL East for the third straight season, and that’s why I’m hammering over 90 wins at good value.

LET’S GO PHILLIES
